The school year is winding down

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the later-than-usual blog post. I hope that you are all enjoying your Passover break and are able to spend some time with friends and family. Since we did not have school this past Sunday, this post will be short and sweet with updates for the next couple of weeks.

Wednesday, April 27 – No Hebrew School

Sunday, May 1st – Sunday School (No Family Education for 2/3 grade)

Wednesday, May 4th – Hebrew School, Confirmation Class, Madrichim Training.

Friday, May 6th – Gan K’tan, Mommy and me group at 10am

Friday, May 6th – Teacher Appreciation Shabbat at 6:45pm. I sincerely hope to see every at this lovely service honoring our fantastic teachers.

Sunday, May 8th – Thank you to everyone who filled out the Survey regarding Mother’s Day and Sunday school. The responses revealed that we will not have enough students to warrant holding a school session. So, we will NOT have school on May 8th. Thank you for being flexible and understanding.

Wednesday, May 11th – Final day of Hebrew School

Friday, May 13th – Gan K’tan with special guest, Marcia Greene at 10am

Sunday, May 15th – Family Picnic to Celebrate the Year – Time: 9:30 to 12pm; Location TBA.

Sunday May 15th – Jewish Heritage Festival at Raley Field 1 to 5pm.

Thursday, May 19th – Confirmation Service and Celebration for our 10th grade students – 7pm.
